About The Position

The Processing Team Member plays a crucial role in sorting and preparing donated items for sale, ensuring that valuable items are identified and recycled appropriately. Requirements

• High School Degree, GED, or equivalent work experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to carry and lift up to 50 lbs. and push/pull up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
• Understanding and execution of company policies and procedures.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills with strong prioritization ability.
• Capable of building and sustaining relationships with peers and management.
• Ability to accurately keep records and communicate progress to management.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple activities simultaneously.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in a retail or processing environment.
• Knowledge of recycling practices and sustainability efforts.

Responsibilities

• Sort donated items and identify valuable finds.
• Help identify recyclable items to keep them out of landfills.
• Prepare items for the sales floor by cleaning and organizing them.
• Lift and load up to 50 lbs. safely and efficiently.
• Clean up and reset the processing area at the end of each day.
• Inspect clothes and other items for quality and condition.
• Classify items based on manufacturer and quality levels.
• Sort and price products for sale.
• Consolidate goods and maintain a neat work area.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
