The Processing Specialist position at Allyant is a full-time role based in Ogdensburg, NY, reporting directly to the Processing Manager. This role is integral to the daily processing and production of alternate format documents and statements specifically designed for the blind and partially sighted community. The successful candidate will work closely with a team of Processing Specialists and utilize proprietary software to automate the conversion of documents into alternative formats, ensuring compliance with customer Service Level Agreements (S.L.A), quality standards, and specific work instructions. In this position, the Processing Specialist will be responsible for coding documents using Allyant's proprietary software, supporting various departments within the organization as needed. Key responsibilities include processing customer documents and statements, ensuring efficient and accurate coding, proofing, and production of alternate format documents, and completing reconciliation and other reports for customers. The role requires a thorough understanding of SLA requirements, including turnaround times and download schedules, and the ability to identify and report processing deficiencies through quality assurance processes. The Processing Specialist will also coordinate with Allyant Development staff to address any identified bugs or deficiencies, ensuring that processed documents are sent to production for timely printing and delivery. This position is not only about technical skills but also involves strong interpersonal skills, as the specialist will need to build relationships within the team and across departments.
