About The Position

The Processing Specialist is responsible for two critical stages of the loan lifecycle; coordinating front end due diligence on loan requests prior to entering underwriting status and completing back end due diligence post approval to ensure a smooth and successful loan closing.

Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years commercial real estate/title work/processing or similar experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task and balance time sensitive priorities.
• Teamwork oriented mindset.
• Excellent work ethic, including accountability, sense of urgency, and ability to problem solve.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Complete basic collateral review and data entry into a 3rd party system to begin the appraisal process, flood certifications and collect environmental data.
• Utilize DocuSign to send out conditional loan approvals to borrowers and brokers.
• Complete due diligence up front to review loan applications for completeness and accuracy.
• Review loan approvals to ensure compliance with company established guidelines.
• Draft commitment letters with necessary conditions for loan requests.
• Correspond with Borrowers & Brokers to secure all conditions outlined in commitment letter.
• Order title and work closely with agents to identify and resolve title issues.
• Request insurance certificates including building, flood, windstorm & condominium, as applicable.
• Prepare LaserPro loan documents.
