Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must work in a team environment.
• Maintain adherence to work hours scheduled specifically starting, ending, lunch and break schedules.
• Perform all duties within established Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) regulations and safety guidelines.
• Be accountable to the Turkey Hill Food Safety and Quality Principles.
• At least (1) year of manufacturing experience.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, receive, and stock all incoming items including restocking any items not needed for production.
• Supply departments with appropriate material levels for production.
• Maintain inventory levels, count inventory, and notify proper group if not correct.
• Prepare parcels and maintain inventory records for outside shipping.
• Deliver parcels in a timely manner to appropriate personnel.
• Inspect and replace damaged materials, products, and skids.
• Proficient in all receiving computer programs.
• Obtain and verify dry ingredient requirements from Recipe Management System.
• Procure dry ingredients from dry storage personnel, stage ingredients at blending station, and ensure ingredients are returned to the proper area.
• Connect the proper fluid ingredient tanks and withdraw correct batch amounts.
• Add dry ingredients per proper procedure to ensure the formulation meets quality specifications and parameters.
• Communicate the status of the blending process to department Lead HTST Operator and/or oncoming relief personnel at the end of shift.
• Perform periodic tear down, cleaning, inspection, and replacing worn parts on all required equipment.
• Perform sanitation duties in batching/blending areas including but not limited to: CIPs (Clean In Place) and manual cleaning of equipment.
• Test washes and sanitizing solutions to ensure quality standards and specifications are met.
• Operate the vacuum lift assist.
• Ensure that ingredients received are stored in proper tanks and silos in accordance with storage regulations.
• Inspect and test each incoming fluid shipment for compliance with corporate regulatory standards.
• Perform, record, and maintain documentation for quality checks and inform quality team of non-compliance.
• Perform complete cleaning, sanitizing, and all other procedures before releasing tanker from premises.
• Ensure that tanker drivers operate in accordance with corporate and regulatory guidelines while they are in the plant.
• Communicate with jockeys to ensure tankers are safely staged for unloading.
• Perform and record all sanitation duties in the receiving area including CIP (Clean In Place), COP (Clean Out of Place) and manual cleaning of all equipment associated with receiving.
• Prepare food grade waste and loadouts for shipment.
• Perform all duties within established safety guidelines.
• Perform all duties within the established Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) regulations.
• Obtain and maintain all required certification for regulatory compliance.
• Support the development, implementation, maintenance, and ongoing improvement of the Safe Quality Foods (SQF) Food Safety & Quality.
