Processing Production Worker

About The Position
This position works in a production area processing different species of shellfish. The schedule is Monday – Friday with a start time varying from 5-7am. Requires working with live, raw and/or cooked products. Usually works five days a week; overtime may be required based on production needs. Adheres to all safety requirements including PPP(Personal Protective Equipment), preventing and reporting unsafe acts and conditions maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Responsibilities
- Adhere to company production standards and guidelines
- Packaging and getting products ready for shipment
- Ensure product getting packed is up to company standards
- Report any safety and company policy violations to the manager
- Report equipment in need of repairs to the manager
- Maintains a positive and cohesive work environment
- Compliance to safety and regulatory concerns
- May be required to do other tasks as needed
- Regular, reliable, predictable attendance
