The Singles Processing Operator at the Carthage Plant on Claxton Ave is responsible for the operation of blenders and ingredients, ensuring food safety and partner safety. The role involves executing standard operating procedures, performing PCP and CCP checks, and maintaining production records. Operators will also be involved in preventative maintenance and troubleshooting production equipment. The position requires effective communication with fellow partners and the ability to read and comprehend written directives. The operator will work in a physically demanding environment, requiring heavy lifting and adherence to good manufacturing practices.

  • Operate Blender and Ingredients.
  • Ensure Food Safety and Partner Safety.
  • Execute standard operating procedures.
  • Perform PCP and CCP checks.
  • Follow reaction plans for Food Safety and Quality.
  • Record accurate data on production reports.
  • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot production equipment.
  • Maintain on-line production records and process control point information.
  • Assist other areas within the department as needed.
  • Direct processing operators in the efficient operation of processing equipment.
  • Report necessary maintenance requirements on facilities and equipment.
  • Participate in teams as requested.
  • Ability to read, understand, and follow written procedures.
  • Proficiency in reading and comprehension of the English language.
  • At least two years of manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Ability to operate an electronic pallet jack and/or forklift.
  • Ability to work in cold and/or hot conditions.
  • Must pass a post-offer background check, physical, and drug screen.
  • Basic to advanced understanding of computer programs (e.g., Oracle applications).
  • Experience in teamwork and process improvement.
