(Bi-weekly Schedule: work Monday & Tuesday, off Wednesday & Thursday, work Friday, Saturday & Sunday, off Monday & Tuesday, work Wednesday & Thursday, off Friday Saturday & Sunday then the schedule starts over) Operate stretch blow molding machines and lift equipment, inspect and pack rigid-plastic PET containers, and perform scheduled charting and inspections on machines and associated equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Start and stop stretch blow-molding machines to produce quality, rigid-plastic containers.
  • Perform routine inspections, cleaning & lubricating and/or tightening of machine assembles.
  • Perform container inspections using test equipment, statistical quality methods & visual inspection techniques.
  • Pack containers into boxes/cartons at designated production-line speeds according to specifications & stack packed cartons to build 4 ft. high units.
  • Safely operate lift trucks to move materials.
  • Perform as a responsible team member to maintain a clean, safe, and effective work environment.
  • Operate stretch blow molding machines, pull seepage, apply SPC methodologies for initiating machine adjustments, change materials, assist in changeovers and identify start and stop of out-of-spec production (held ware).
  • Willing to fill in as Packaging Technician when needed to complete orders.
  • Responsible for maintaining and adhering to established Good Manufacturing Procedures (GMP) and Safety Quality Foods (SQF) compliance requirements.
  • Responsible for adhering to Food Safety Compliance.
