We are currently seeking a full-time Processing Operator to join our team in our manufacturing facility. Key responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: • Responsible for the set up and staging of materials for machine operation.• Responsible for the operation of equipment within company established rates.• Responsible for cleaning and sanitation of equipment.• Responsible for moving materials throughout the plant and staging production areas. • Responsible maintain the stacking areas and stacking for up to 4 to 5 lines.• Palletize and stack products to multiple required configurations• Open boxes and containers as needed using proper techniques and utensils. • Perform all job duties in accordance with the company’s safety and quality guidelines. • Accurately complete all required documentation and system transactions.• Properly use all personal protective gear per company guidelines. • Assure timely cleaning and sanitation of all equipment and assure absence of down time. • Dispose of trash and cleans work area thoroughly.• Remove any unused product, boxes and utensils and assure clear and clean work area.• Complete all jobs in any area as assigned by supervisors.• Participation on factory teams.
Requirements
- Prior exposure to manufacturing desired, preferably the food or beverage industry with knowledge of GMPs
- Proficient with computer use; familiar with SAP and standard Microsoft Office Software
- Demonstrated sense of urgency and comfort working in a fast pace environment
- Ability to work independently or with a team with excellent communication skills and the ability to interact with other team members.
- Willingness and ability to work with minimal temperature control, exposed to local temperature variations (hold & cold)
- Ability to work safely and multi-task in a fast-paced, quickly changing environment
- Ability to move/lift 50 lbs various times, basic math, and reading skills
Nice To Haves
- Three months Nestlé factory experience is preferred.
