About The Position

Material Handler ensures the safe and timely delivery of products and materials, employing the highest industry safety standards. Coordinates with team members to maximize efficiency, paying careful attention to detail, ensuring the proper completion of every task.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED equivalent
1+ year(s) experience in warehousing/Processing or equivalent

Responsibilities

Work under direct supervision and follow Standard Operating Procedures and instructions to accomplish assigned tasks.
Follow all company safety policies and procedures
Transport and load materials, supplies, and finished goods (manually and/or using hand trucks and skids).
Assist with the timely fulfillment and delivery of products
Work cooperatively with Supervisors, Leads and other Team members in order to complete tasks and support process improvements
Ability to be flexible with performing job assignments, as they pertain to shift goals and objectives
Must meet and maintain productivity and accuracy standards
Collects and properly disposes of scrap bracing, cardboard, and strapping; maintains a safe and clean work environment.
Perform general housekeeping and sanitation tasks
Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization
Performs other related duties as assigned.
