About The Position

At Leprino Foods, starting compensation for this role - Processing L2 - Group Leader Rate is $34.20 (Break in rates and $0.75 cents differential pay from 6PM - 5:59AM applies). The Group Leader is responsible for proactively overseeing, directing and supporting team members, processes and functions in the Processing Department. At all times, operate in a manner consistent with safe operating procedures. Responsible for providing direction for the crew and equipment in accordance with Company Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). Document any operational change during production and anything out of the ordinary, in the comment section of MES as well as any required data into the MES system. Make necessary adjustments to achieve customer specifications. Organize and direct rework assignments. Troubleshoot equipment breakdowns and/or stoppages. Monitor all QLC additives. Coordinate action plans in dealing with extraneous issues in all instances. Insure the box code is correct. Direct ribbon add-back conforming with requirements. Enforce safety and set the example for safety. Adhere to all Company and regulatory GMPs. Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.

Requirements

Knowledge of sanitary GMPs.
Physical requirements to perform job as defined in the essential job function.
Must be able to exercise judgment and make decisions.
Computer literacy.
