The Processing Associate supports the cannabis production team by preparing and handling raw materials used in the processing department. This role focuses on maintaining the quality and consistency of materials, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards, and keeping accurate inventory records. Material Processors work closely with team members to maintain efficiency, cleanliness, and organization on the production floor, directly contributing to the company's goal of producing high-quality products in a safe and compliant environment.

Requirements

  • Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations for proper batch formulation.
  • Keen attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to perform under pressure and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Must be at least 21 years old.
  • 1+ years of manufacturing experience with a focus on inventory tracking, product safety, consumer safety, and maintaining high product quality.

Nice To Haves

  • Professional kitchen or baking experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor cannabis material during processing phases.
  • Weigh, track, and record inventory accurately.
  • Assist with material handling and movement throughout production.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas to ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
  • Conduct basic visual checks to confirm material quality.
  • Follow standard operating procedures and quality guidelines.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
