This position is housed in the Chapel Hill Unit office and specifically provides front desk coverage and support to caseloads with various primary disabling condition. Provide administrative support to managerial, supervisory, professional, and para-professional staff located in this office, and interact with outside agencies, organizations, and vendors, as is needed to assist eligible persons with disabilities to achieve identified goals. The position requires a wide range of knowledge regarding community resources and local employers as well as the ability to communicate with individuals from diverse backgrounds. Job responsibilities include the following: • Greeting visitors and callers courteously and professionally, to include contact with staff, vendors, other departments and the public • Using a multi-line phone system to answer and route calls to appropriate staff members • Preparing documents, maintaining spreadsheets, inputting data, and completing billing processes for assigned staff • Receiving applications from clients, along with requesting and obtaining medical/treatment records • Documenting client information, interactions, and services into the case management system throughout the rehabilitation process • Utilizing office equipment and other relevant technology (software and systems) to meet office needs
