About The Position
OceanaGold is seeking a Water Treatment Operator for the Haile Gold Mine located in South Carolina, the largest gold mine on the East Coast of America. This position is crucial as our employees are at the heart of all we do, with 84% of them living in the surrounding community. The Water Treatment Operator will ensure compliance with division policies and procedures, maintain safety standards, and operate the plant effectively. This role involves adjusting biological, chemical, and physical processes, troubleshooting operational issues, and performing maintenance on equipment. The operator will also be responsible for conducting shift inspections and reporting any issues to supervision.
