The primary objective of the role is to collaborate closely with the Americas Head of Finance Strategy Execution and Change, championing automation, simplification, and an improved experience for the Americas Finance Teams. This will be achieved through the systematic identification and delivery of high-impact, innovative solutions that support ongoing innovation and operational excellence. The successful candidate will demonstrate outstanding stakeholder management, listening, and influencing abilities. As our Process Transformation Lead, Americas Finance you will: Evaluate existing processes and design innovative solutions to enhance business operations Apply structured and creative approaches to complex, large-scale challenges, assessing costs, benefits, and obstacles while fostering innovative thinking Research market trends, champion new ideas, and lead the implementation of alternative working methods, measuring impact and value Drive automation and simplification initiatives from concept to execution, overseeing intake, evaluation, and approval of innovation use cases Promote a culture of ongoing improvement through effective cross-functional collaboration, prioritizing solutions based on feasibility, strategic alignment, and economic value Accelerate capability and capacity building across Finance, supporting increased innovation and engagement Take full ownership of project deliverables, monitor progress, anticipate risks, implement mitigation strategies, and manage a roadmap of innovation initiatives to achieve cost reduction targets for 2026 and beyond Communicate effectively with senior stakeholders, translating complex information into clear, actionable messages Play an integral role within the Americas Finance COO (Chief Operating Officer) leadership team, fostering connectivity and collaboration across the wider function You´ll likely have the following qualifications to succeed in this role: Experience in several of the following areas: strategic value proposition development, transformation strategy, vendor assessment, cost-benefit analysis, ideation and rapid prototyping, design thinking, process mapping and re-engineering, automation, and AI Proven ability to lead and influence diverse stakeholders, customers, and teams Strong understanding of HSBC’s change framework, with the capacity to manage multiple priorities Effective stakeholder management and relationship-building skills across HSBC Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to clearly articulate requirements to business, functional, and finance teams Demonstrated track record and growth mindset in leading and delivering strategic change and robust solutions across global teams An open, curious, and adaptable approach to driving process improvement, efficiency, and innovation Proficiency in data analysis, sound judgement, and issue interpretation to identify problems and deliver solutions aligned with strategic objectives Commitment to fostering a culture that values individuals and encourages employee growth and development As an HSBC employee, you will have access to tailored professional development opportunities to ensure you have the right skills for today and tomorrow.
