We are seeking a skilled Process Trainee to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for starting, operating, and adjusting manufacturing machinery and equipment. This role requires a focus on safety, an understanding of quality, a continuous improvement mindset, and the ability to work independently.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification preferred.
  • Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician or similar role.
  • Must be able to use hand tools ranging from common hand and power tools to fabrication tools
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication skills, including reading, writing, and speaking basic English.

Nice To Haves

  • Forklift, cranes and other industrial vehicles experience preferred
  • 2 or more years of mechanical or technical experience preferred
  • LOTO assessments, JSA creation
  • Basic multimeter usage (voltage and resistance checks)
  • Hydraulic, air, and water hose fabrication
  • Hot stamp and auxiliary equipment troubleshooting
  • Drilling tap and die, thread insert repair
  • Blender and weigh bin calibration
  • Nozzle and heater block wiring
  • Advanced rigging
  • Silicone sprayer troubleshooting
  • Compounding, low and high pressure injection fundamentals
  • Mold change process and repair fundamentals

Responsibilities

  • Use technician computer to monitor and record machine statuses as well as maintain daily records of maintenance or other projects preformed
  • Diagnose faults, malfunctions, and mechanical problems and determine how to correct them by checking blueprints, repair manuals, or parts catalogs
  • Calibrate or adjust machinery or equipment to ensure quality production
  • Test, troubleshoot and adjust manufacturing machinery and equipment
  • Keep work area clean and organized
  • Other items as directed by management
