About The Position

Vuteq USA is seeking two Process Technicians to join their team for a late evening shift from 7 pm to 3:50 am. The role involves setting up and starting molding machines to produce quality products that meet customer and plant production requirements. The technicians will be responsible for diagnosing production issues, maintaining machine work areas, and ensuring effective communication with other shifts and management.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
• Good problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
• Ability to lift 30 lbs 10% of the time, climb ladders 10% of the time, and engage in continuous bending and walking throughout the shift.
• Team player mentality.

Responsibilities

• Setup and startup molding machines to produce quality products.
• Adjust processing conditions after mold changes as necessary.
• Install, monitor, clean, and remove auxiliary equipment for injection molding machines as needed.
• Diagnose production problems and make necessary adjustments.
• Ensure desired production results are obtained and retained.
• Produce a high volume of quality injected parts in a production setting.
• Maintain machine work areas according to 5S requirements.
• Assist other shifts with coverage for vacations and absenteeism.
• Communicate daily machine concerns or issues during shift changes.
• Report any equipment or tooling malfunctions to the appropriate support department.
• Monitor, track, and report all machine data as required.
• Provide a customer service attitude when interacting with internal and external customers.
• Participate in continuous process improvement efforts to reduce scrap and improve efficiency.
