Process Technician - 2759 Responsible for leading and overseeing equipment set-up, adjustments, performing autonomous maintenance, and training team members to ensure production is accomplished safely while adhering to our strict quality guidelines in an efficient and productive manner.

Requirements

  • Perform work under direct supervision
  • Handle basic issues and problems and refer more complex issues to higher level staff
  • Possess beginning to work knowledge of subject matter.
  • 1 to 3 years of experience, including experience driving powered industrial equipment

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Able to lead and train team members in the proper techniques for operation, setup, and equipment/die adjustments based on safety, quality, and cycle time requirements.
  • Assist Maintenance Technicians and Engineering in installation, debugging, repair, modification, and maintenance of production equipment.
  • Develop and implement procedures utilizing knowledge of production specifications, properties, and characteristics of metals, metal alloys, and engineering principles.
  • Conduct research and development projects to develop new or modify current methods, techniques, and procedures.
  • Able to methodically troubleshoot setup and equipment issues and effectively determine root causes and countermeasures.”
  • Able to conceptualize, design, fabricate, and build items to aid in or improve current manufacturing processes.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, engineering specifications and shop orders to determine machine setup, production methods and sequence of operation
  • Operate powered industrial equipment if needed
  • Complete all necessary documents fully and accurately
  • Adhere to 5S standards (e.g., maintain cleanliness of work area, etc.)
  • Follow all Safety, Environmental and Quality policies, and procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned
