We work together to win, grow, and make a real impact—supported by a high-performing, inclusive, and collaborative environment where you can be your best, every day.  General Responsibility: The Process Technician monitors troubleshoot and makes minor repairs on plastic or foam forming machines and auxiliary equipment.  They diagnose and make process changes necessary to keep product in specification and ensure quality product is being produced in a safe and efficient manner.

Requirements

  • Minimum of one-year stable and verifiable work history is required.
  • Demonstrated mechanical capability and a minimum of two years’ experience in a technical related field required. Technical certificate preferred.
  • High school diploma/GED required.
  • Must possess basic math skills.
  • Must have working knowledge of hand and small power tools.
  • Must possess good communication skills to ensure that clear and concise information is communicated as required.
  • Must be able to read and interpret equipment manuals, documents, and implement work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
  • Must be a good listener, having the ability to receive instructions over two-way radios, and other communication devices.
  • Must be a self-starter, self-motivated and able to work independently.
  • Must be able to multi-task.
  • Must be able to become certified on operating forklift, scissor lift snorkel lift and overhead crane.

Nice To Haves

  • Technical certificate preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventative maintenance and make regular repairs to ensure dependable and safe operation of machines and equipment.
  • Proficient at troubleshooting and making repairs on all pertinent machines and auxiliary equipment to meet facility scrap and efficiency key measures.
  • Document and implement corrective actions for part weights and process monitoring.
  • Perform changeovers for related equipment in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Maintain quality standards for all products in machine cell
  • Proficient in all safety and housekeeping requirements.
  • Perform other duties as required.
