About The Position

Position Overview: Set up and operate all equipment. To maintain all operations in a safe and efficient way and to insure quality acceptable production requirements.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma
  • 2 -4 year experience in molding.
  • Must be familiar with plastic molding and troubleshooting machines.
  • Basic math skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • ability to work well with individuals at all levels within and outside the company.
  • Computer skills (Excel, Word, and Outlook)

Nice To Haves

  • Mechanical and electrical background.

Responsibilities

  • Document process steps to comply with approved guidelines.
  • Assist in maintaining ‘Good Manufacturing Practices’ (GMP) within the plant – including housekeeping on assigned production lines.
  • Evaluate and recommend equipment modifications to improve efficiency.
  • Assist management in tracking process trends/genesis units.
  • Performs attribute inspections.
  • Know Service Technician and Material Handler duties.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by Production supervisor or Shift responsible.
  • Quality control : Distinguish different defects
  • Know the different dimensions
  • Basic knowledge of hydraulic systems & electrical systems of machines, have enough knowledge to troubleshoot minor problems.
  • Understand materials & cycles so as to explain why different materials require different cycles.
  • Make proper adjustments to machines when ware is not running to specs.
  • Know proper way to shut down and start up machines.
  • Have basic knowledge of all secondary equipment : Set-up flaming line
  • Mold heaters
  • Train & assist other production operators
  • Chart bottles using genesis system
  • Assist in Garvey line setup
