About The Position

TSMC Arizona is looking for Process Technicians to join our 4-nanometer Fab, located in sunny Phoenix, Arizona. Module Process Technicians are responsible for monitoring wafer manufacturing process, process analysis, and collaborative solutions. Module Process Technician: process technicians working in engineering departments, such as CVD (Chemical Vapor Deposition), PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition), LIT (Lithography), ETC (Etch), EPI (Epitaxy), DIF (Diffusion), CMP (Chemical Mechanical Polish), YED (Yield Excellent Department), ME (Metrology). The position is primarily responsible for monitoring wafer processing, responding to alarms, analyzing the situation, following SOPs to handle all kinds of real-time issues, and documenting related works in proper reporting format and template.

Requirements

  • High school diploma required; AAS Degree or Technical Certificate preferred.
  • 2-8 years of professional experience in an office or manufacturing work environment, or AAS with 0-2 years of experience.
  • Fundamental computer skills: Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, MS Office/Outlook; typing speed > 30 wpm.
  • Data analysis abilities and process flow analysis skills.
  • Ability to learn complex procedures and plan for incoming material processing.
  • Ability to remain in a stationary position, often sitting for long periods.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in a cleanroom environment.
  • Familiarity with wafer-related systems or home-grown systems.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor wafer manufacturing process and analyze process data.
  • Respond to alarms and analyze situations to ensure smooth operations.
  • Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to handle real-time issues.
  • Document work and report findings in the required format.
  • Collaborate with team and leadership to manage production efficiency and quality.
  • Identify bottlenecks and issues to create solutions that support production goals.
  • Summarize problems encountered during handover and manage handover content.
