As a Process Technician at ORBIS Corporation, you will play a crucial role in the manufacturing process by deploying advanced process technology aimed at minimizing variation and optimizing the production of our products. Your expertise will be essential in improving machine efficiency, ensuring that automation systems are running at peak performance, and that production goals are met consistently. You will be responsible for performing mold start-ups, particularly in locations where this is applicable, and maintaining strict adherence to process guidelines, which include monitoring cycle times, E-Darts, and clamp movements. In this position, you will also be tasked with the installation, troubleshooting, and removal of End of Arm Tooling (EOAT), as well as troubleshooting material mixers to ensure that all components are functioning correctly. Assisting in color and material changes will be part of your responsibilities, requiring a keen understanding of the materials used in our processes. You will need to pull and interpret FPI/SA paperwork and address any process variances that may arise during production. Safety is paramount in this role; you will be expected to work in a safe and efficient manner, utilizing all required personal protective equipment and adhering to safety protocols as outlined in STW documentation. If STW documentation is not available for any process, you will be required to follow proper training techniques to ensure safety and compliance. Additionally, you will be actively involved in Continuous Improvement initiatives, promoting and sustaining all CI, 5S, and STW activities within the manufacturing environment. Other duties may be assigned as necessary, contributing to the overall success of the team and the organization.
