About The Position

The Process Technician role at Astrix Technology involves ensuring the cleanliness and sanitation of equipment and facilities in FDA-regulated manufacturing areas. The technician will adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and relevant federal regulations while preparing components for manufacturing and maintaining quality and compliance throughout the process.

Requirements

• Previous experience working as a technician in medical device or pharmaceutical industries.
• Aseptic background with experience in component preparation.
• Familiarity with cGMP Grade 8 or lower environments is preferred.
• Strong communication skills.
• Flexible with schedule and open to overtime.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for facility/equipment cleaning and sanitation in FDA-regulated manufacturing areas.
• Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and relevant federal regulations (CFRs).
• Report discrepancies to the Team Leader or Production Supervisor to ensure quality and safety.
• Maintain a Right First-Time approach to ensure quality and compliance.
• Receive and prepare components for manufacturing.
• Load components into equipment and carry out sanitation activities.
• Complete paperwork accurately and understand Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) and performance metrics.
• Participate in daily performance meetings.
• Operate pallet jacks and manually wrap pallets.
• Use computer systems for material inventory and electronic batch records.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify improvement opportunities.
• Ensure components and products are ready for continuous operations.
