About The Position

Responsible for leading and overseeing equipment set-up, adjustments, performing autonomous maintenance, and training team members to ensure production is accomplished safely while adhering to our strict quality guidelines in an efficient and productive manner.

Requirements

Perform work under direct supervision
Handle basic issues and problems and refer more complex issues to higher level staff
Possess beginning to work knowledge of subject matter.
Experience in Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word is preferred.
1 to 3 years of experience, including experience driving powered industrial equipment
Ability to interpret work instructions
Ability to follow written and verbal directions.
Ability to read and understand measuring equipment (tape measure, calipers, ect.)
Basic verbal and written communication skills
Ability to lift/move heavy objects
Manual dexterity
Physical stamina

Responsibilities

Able to lead and train team members in the proper techniques for operation, setup, and equipment/die adjustments based on safety, quality, and cycle time requirements.
Assist Maintenance Technicians and Engineering in installation, debugging, repair, modification, and maintenance of production equipment.
Develop and implement procedures utilizing knowledge of production specifications, properties, and characteristics of metals, metal alloys, and engineering principles.
Conduct research and development projects to develop new or modify current methods, techniques, and procedures.
Able to methodically troubleshoot setup and equipment issues and effectively determine root causes and countermeasures.”
Able to conceptualize, design, fabricate, and build items to aid in or improve current manufacturing processes.
Read and interpret blueprints, engineering specifications and shop orders to determine machine setup, production methods and sequence of operation
Operate powered industrial equipment if needed
Complete all necessary documents fully and accurately
Adhere to 5S standards (e.g., maintain cleanliness of work area, etc.)
Follow all Safety, Environmental and Quality policies, and procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned
