About The Position

Akkodis is seeking a Process Technician IV for a Contract with a client in Maple Grove, MN. The ideal candidate will support process development by building prototypes and executing laser-based manufacturing processes from concept to production.

Requirements

Associate degree in a technical field or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
Minimum 5 years in process development or manufacturing support roles.
Hands-on experience with laser systems and machine integration, including optical systems.
Proficiency in Aerotech programming and ability to construct prototypes and support process development from concept to production.

Responsibilities

Execute assigned project tasks and contribute to design, testing, and process development for laser-based manufacturing.
Construct prototypes and coordinate prototyping efforts with minimal engineering guidance.
Apply technical knowledge to develop processes, tooling, and automation, ensuring innovation and efficiency.
Coordinate procurement and qualification of new or modified laser equipment, supporting project timelines.
Prepare detailed reports and documentation to communicate results and technical findings to engineering teams.
Collaborate cross-functionally with R&D, Quality, Production, and Supply Chain to ensure successful project execution.
