About The Position

Starting pay $23.46 per hour This is a 12-hour position. 7am-7pm on a 2-2-3 schedule. Perks and Benefits Health, Dental and Vision Benefits Short Term & Long Term Disability 401 (k) Retirement Plan and Pension Plan Wellness Program Vacation & Holiday Pay Responsibilities: Follow company policies, safe work practices, prevent injury to yourself and other employees Report any unsafe work conditions or any work-related injury to your supervisor immediately Perform preventive maintenance on equipment Lubricate equipment on schedule Make gear changes on equipment as necessary for style changes or weight corrections Assist in color change procedures Keep parts ordered and necessary repairs updated with supply room Take weight samples and adjust machine setting when lab deems necessary Assist or relieve Process Specialist Prepare skill set for advance to Process Specialist Perform all assigned tasks to the best of one’s ability Perform all assigned tasks safely Education High school graduate Experience Prior mechanical experience Key Skills Ability to read, write and follow instructions Ability to work in a team-oriented environment Ability to multi-task and work in an ever-changing environment with ongoing interruptions Willing to be trained/updated on necessary skills Ability to work solo or with team as necessary Willing to be on call for nights and weekends as scheduled Ability to perform job duties safely – SAFETY FIRST Physical Textile Manufacturing Plant environment Ability to lift 50 lbs. Requirements
