About The Position

Role Overview The Process Technician II will perform all activities involved in the aseptic processing of biologic products. All duties are perfomed in compliance with FDA and Smith and Nephew Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). The candidate should have a commitment to high standards of quality. What will you be doing? Follow batch production records (BPRs) and SOPs to manufacture Biologic products. Responsible for the preparation and in-process testing of all media, reagents, substrates for testing, and sanitizing agents used in manufacturing areas. Assist in the preparation of documentation as applicable to the scope of operations in the manufacturing facility. Identify areas for improvement in manufacturing efficiencies and compliance and assist with projects. Assist with technology transfer from R&D to manufacturing environment. Perform cleaning and preparation of all equipment necessary for the daily manufacturing of products. Assist and partake in championship of 5S program. Maintain appropriate inventories of supplies within the production area . Become an expert in multiple processes across the plant. Perform housekeeping and general upkeep throughout the production area as required. Work with Manufacturing Supervisors to prioritize and coordinate supplementary manufacturing duties. Assist with Manufacturing Technician Training . Participate in Manufacturing Mentor Program. What will you need to be successful? Highschool Diploma or GED required. Minimum of 1 year of relevant manufacturing experience. Strong knowledge of GMPs is mandatory. Open to flexible hours and ready to adapt to changing schedules. Skilled with good documentation practices. Effective verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrated ability to work in a professional, multi-disciplinary, multi-cultural team as a group leader, facilitator, or participant. Physical demands: Ability to lift at least 20lb, to stand or sit continuously for at least 4 hours. Requirements
