Requirements

• 0-4 years related experience.
• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Must be mechanically inclined with good problem-solving skills.
• Must exhibit good communication and interpersonal skills amongst shop floor and support staff.
• Additional skills and training may be required such as AutoCAD layouts, Sketchup, electrical troubleshooting, and Lean Manufacturing principles.

Responsibilities

• Entry level technical resource dedicated to a process or production cell.
• Support daily shop floor operation, resolving issues, quality problems, and implementing process improvements.
• Participate in Engineering design reviews for new and existing products.
• Work with Engineering to define work methods and sequences in the development of new products and processes.
• Perform analysis, data collection, and document operator standard work.
• Develop workstation and line layouts, balancing or work content, material handling and storage solutions, process documentation, and operator training as needed.
