Job Description: Ariens Company is seeking a motivated and passionate Process Technician that will provide support for production assembly lines and operations personnel, focusing on maximizing employee safety, product quality, delivery and productivity in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Pay: Starts at $24/hour + $2,000 sign on bonus Schedule & Shift: Monday - Thursday (4 days x 10 hours); 4:45AM-2:45PM

Requirements

  • A technical degree is preferred but not required
  • Experience using lean principles to drive continuous improvement
  • Ability to plan, coordinate, and implement projects ranging in size and scope
  • Experience dealing with a variety of people in a variety of settings
  • Moderate level or above computer skills with MS Office preferred
  • A strong mechanical aptitude
  • An ability to communicate effectively – written or verbal
  • Ability to stand for 10 hours a day
  • Must be able to use hands to position parts in place
  • Able to lift up to 35 pounds at varying frequencies
  • Must wear required Personal Protective Equipment
  • Desire for personal development and growth
  • Ability to work as part of a team

Responsibilities

  • Conduct cycle timing/line balancing
  • Support updating standard work & binder
  • Identify and implement VA/VE projects
  • Support process audits
  • Support torque audits
  • Support CI log process
  • Support safety/ergo team
  • New line layout/setup
  • Supporting new technology integration
  • Identify and implement new tooling
  • Audit tooling/fixtures
  • Troubleshoot tooling issues
  • Submit maintenance/SAFA request
  • Production Verification (PV) build support
  • Design Verification (DV) build support
  • Manage impact of PCS changes on the line
  • Train and develop others as necessary
