About The Position

We are looking for a Process Technician who will play a crucial role in maintaining our production standards and ensuring food safety.

Requirements

• Knowledge of GMPs.
• Understanding of Food Safety Requirements.
• Ability to read, understand, and work with machinery blueprints and parts manuals.
• Ability to work without supervision.
• Good decision making/problem solving skills.
• Must obtain and maintain forklift certification.

Nice To Haves

• Minimum 2 years previous maintenance experience in manufacturing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to all health and safety policies/procedures, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and wear the required personal protective equipment (PPE) while in the warehouse or production areas.
• Responsible for adhering to food quality and food safety standards as per corporate, customer, and governing bodies.
• Report problems with the Food Safety Management System (FSMS) to responsible managerial employees to initiate corrective actions.
• Perform and complete repair maintenance, preventive maintenance, and line changeovers.
• Troubleshoot machinery for malfunctions (electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, & pneumatic).
• Perform maintenance on all production supporting equipment.
• Use innovative thinking when troubleshooting equipment to minimize production downtime.
• Complete, document, and retrieve final approvals on all assigned work orders.
• Communicate effectively all relevant maintenance and production related information.
• Assist in training other maintenance personnel.
• Work collaboratively with all adjacent teams to resolve issues rapidly.
