Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in plastics industry or equivalent
  • Experience in optimizing blow molding products or equivalent
  • Knowledge about energy sources (electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic)
  • Knowledge of relevant quality control schemes
  • Knowledge of different measure techniques (e.g. calipers, gauges)
  • Knowledge of EHS guidelines
  • Knowledge in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • High school diploma or GED required

Responsibilities

  • Optimization of machine set-ups, to fulfill quality standards
  • Review of produced molds and production according to process playbook controls
  • Coordination of assigned operators to ensure production, retooling and adjustment of machines
  • Instruction of operators with regards to quality requirements according to the control scheme
  • Assign repair instructions and support repairs of machines, tools and square parts
  • Ensure compliance to EHS guidelines and procedures (IATF)
  • Detect safety gaps and near miss analysis
  • Lead in continues improvement activities
  • Lead production flow through quality assurance after optimization of production machines
  • Documentation of events in the shift book, change point management, PCR (when applicable) and update process playbooks accordingly
  • Other duties as assigned
