About The Position

Primary Duties and Responsibilities: Responsibilities include, but not limited to the following: Promote a safe, clean, and compliant work environment by supporting housekeeping, safety systems, and risk mitigation efforts. Troubleshoot and improve HDPE board manufacturing processes using RCA, DOE, and other problem-solving tools. Collaborate with Engineering and R&D on product and process development, modifications, and testing through support efforts as well as project ownership. Develop, document, and validate setup procedures and process standards for PE board equipment. Inspect products and processes to identify defects and drive quality improvements. Train and support operators through hands-on instruction and team engagement. Help meet daily production goals and ensure accurate performance reporting by tracking and reporting out on Line rates, quality, and availability. Tasks to include running lines with a focus on coaching and development of TTL’s and operators. Support custom sample trials and perform additional duties as assigned. Support tooling and production through tool trial, run offs, and die cleanings as needed.

Requirements

  • High school diploma minimum, prefer at least an associate's degree.
  • 2-5 years direct manufacturing experience with extrusion operations.
  • 2-3 years experience in a process support or technical support role.
  • Direct involvement with quality systems.
  • Direct involvement with safety systems.
  • Ability to work 12 hour shifts in a continuous manufacturing operation.
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Experience with MS Word and Excel.

Nice To Haves

  • 1-2 years previous supervisory experienced preferred.
