The shift will start at 2:00pm and end at 10:30 pm depending on the production schedule. This role supports the production line and will follow production needs. Your main tasks: The Process Technician is considered an expert of manufacturing processes and equipment. Responsible for adjustments, equipment set-up, autonomous maintenance, daily reports, and training equipment operators to assure production plan is accomplished in a safe, efficient, and productive manner with a high degree of quality in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Operate various forms of equipment and teach new employees proper operation of the equipment. Responsible for daily productivity in their equipment and data analysis. Lead changeovers and equipment adjustments based on quality and cycle time requirements.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • 2+years’ experience with Automations (Fully automatic assembly equipment’s with robots and/or transfers (servo motor)) or 1 year experience coupled with technical associate degree (Mechatronics, Industrial Electronics).
  • Proven past ability to set-up, operate and perform autonomous maintenance on fully automated equipment;
  • Kuka Robot Experience: basic knowledge to operate the robot and adjustments;
  • Lead and participate in root cause analysis of equipment or parts.
  • Be familiar with MTBF, MTTR and Equipment Uptime;
  • Must be able to operate a computer and a tablet (iOS and android). Knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to ensure product is built to specification in a quality manner.
  • May be required to work weekends/shutdowns based on set up needs of equipment.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous Electrolux Process Tech Experience with appropriate process (Enamel, Welding, Paint, Pre-Painted Metal Stamping, Metal Fabrication, Automation).
  • Must be able to operate a computer and a tablet (iOS and Android).
  • Proven past ability to set-up, operate, and perform autonomous maintenance on fully automated heavy equipment in a high-speed manufacturing environment.
  • Associate degree in maintenance technology and/ or technical trade certificate a plus.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents & drawings and write detailed repair reports.
  • Ability for troubleshooting equipment and experience in autonomous maintenance.
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing Principles (Problem Solving, 5 Why`s).
  • Knowledge of Kuka Robots will be considered as plus;
