About The Position

The Process Lead is responsible for developing the technical understanding and mastery of process control within the operating teams. This role involves overseeing the Centerline Management system, implementing improvements, and developing training programs. It is typically an entry-level management position or an experienced hourly lead role, reporting to the Cell Lead at the North Mankato facility.

Requirements

• Demonstrate excellent safety performance with accident/incident-free behavior
• Competent with computer use, particularly Excel (can perform complex functions), Word, and SAP
• Previous recent leadership experience in a food-processing or manufacturing environment
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one or more years of experience
• Bachelor's degree preferred

Responsibilities

• Participate in plant wide continuous improvement projects
• Oversee the Centerline Management system for the department
• Lead process definition to identify Centerline targets and document standards
• Develop control strategies to allow operators to respond to out of control situations
• Manage integrity of Line Event Data Systems (LEDS)
• Analyze line data to identify loss elimination opportunities
• Lead the Changeover system for the department
• Use root-cause analysis on main chronic losses for the department
• Coach teams on Centerline and Changeover DMS execution and continuous improvement fundamentals
• Create trainings and help manage training for the department
