Your day to day as a Process Safety Management (PSM) MANAGER As a Process Safety Management (PSM) Manager at Reliant Holdings, you will lead and manage the Process Safety Management (PSM) and Risk Management Plan (RMP) programs with a specialized focus on carbon dioxide (CO₂) systems utilized in food processing. Your responsibilities will encompass overseeing systems used for capturing, compressing, purifying, and liquefying CO₂, along with its applications in chilling, freezing, carbonation, and modified atmosphere packaging. Additionally, you will support the facility's environmental compliance initiatives by engaging in critical programs such as NPDES discharge permits, air permits, stormwater compliance, and hazardous waste reporting. By ensuring adherence to OSHA 29 CFR 1910.119, EPA RMP, and relevant environmental regulations, you will play a vital role in safeguarding people, processes, and the environment within the organization. Your expertise will be instrumental in promoting a culture of safety and compliance. Are you the PSm mANAGER we're looking for? To thrive as a Process Safety Management (PSM) Manager at Reliant Holdings, you will need a robust set of skills and expertise in various areas. Proficiency in leading and maintaining Process Safety Management (PSM) and Risk Management Plan (RMP) programs for carbon dioxide (CO₂) systems and high-risk chemical processes is essential. You should be adept at maintaining up-to-date Process Safety Information (PSI), including P&IDs, equipment specifications, and relief system documentation. Strong coordination and facilitation skills are crucial for conducting Process Hazard Analyses (PHA) and managing timely revalidations. You will also need to effectively manage Management of Change (MOC) and Pre-Startup Safety Reviews (PSSR) for new or modified systems. Investigating process-related incidents, conducting root cause analyses, and providing training on CO₂ safety and emergency response are key responsibilities. Additionally, experience with environmental compliance initiatives and collaborating with operations and maintenance teams will be vital for ensuring the safety and integrity of CO₂ systems.
