Your Role The Regional or Site Process Safety Expert will support one or more sites with day-to-day Process safety program implementation and will report to the site/region operations. They will participate on the Life Science Process Safety Center of Excellence a subset of the LS Global EHS team responsible for the business level implementation of process safety corporate governance programs. As the Process Safety Resource, you will be responsible for implementing process safety programs at your assigned site(s) based on regulation and corporate governance direction. Key tasks include: Develop compliance programs and site OPs for implementing process safety requirement Maintain and track a list of process safety–related actions. Prepare process safety deliverables for CapEx projects in line with corporate program requirements, including HAZOP-based Process Hazard Reviews and Pre-Startup Safety Reviews (PSSR). Facilitate Process Hazard Analyses (PHAs). Conduct or coordinate consequence modeling studies. Provide technical expertise in risk assessment, chemical reactivity, fire protection systems, and mechanical integrity. Liaise with the LS Process Safety Center of Excellence (CoE) and participate in CoE meetings. Contribute to LS Business Process Safety program development, including standards and tools. Attend and lead process safety trainings and site initiatives developed by the CoE. Limites travel to support other sites - Round Rock (near Austin), Temecula,CA, Carlsbad, CA, Lenexa, KS, The Woodlands,TX. Who You Are Minimum Qualifications 2+ years experience implementing process safety programs Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering or other Engineering discipline. Preferred Qualifications Experience facilitating process hazard analyses Travel between assigned sites as needed Pre-employment screening needs Wear PPE including but not limited to head, eye, hand, body and foot protection for 8hr shift Safely work in an electrically classified area due to possible presence of flammable vapors or combustible dust. Pay Range for this position: $75,300 - $120,700 annually The offer range represents the anticipated low and high end of the base pay compensation for this position. The actual compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level of experience, education, skills, and other job-related factors. Requirements

  • 2+ years experience implementing process safety programs
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering or other Engineering discipline.
  • Wear PPE including but not limited to head, eye, hand, body and foot protection for 8hr shift
  • Safely work in an electrically classified area due to possible presence of flammable vapors or combustible dust.
