Scope: The Process Reliability Technician assists manufacturing, engineering and quality departments. The Technician may assist manufacturing with process elements or process and quality engineers with the testing and gathering of data on various elements of the printed circuit board manufacturing process.

Requirements

  • Ability to read, write and communicate in English to the degree necessary to perform the job
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong desire and willingness to learn
  • Familiar with PC applications, like excel or web-based applications.
  • Minimum education required: High School Diploma or GED
  • Strong math skills, especially statistics

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for assuring manufacturing process is running per procedure or conducting reliability tests
  • Monitors manufacturing process or performs failure analysis for reliability or quality
  • Takes measurements for process control or gathers measurement data for reliability
  • Re-writes documentation to update new practices or writes and prepares reports for reliability or quality
  • Maintains material movement spreadsheets and reports results
  • Runs tests through production process line or assists process engineer with evaluating results
  • Perform activities such as measuring product or performing tests
  • Follow all safety measures when handling chemicals
