Position Overview As a Process Engineer specializing in sterilization, you'll play a crucial role in designing, maintaining and improving our sterilization processes while driving efficiency and ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards. This is an onsite position with future on-call responsibilities.

Requirements

  • Required: Bachelor's degree in engineering (Chemical, Mechanical or Industrial)
  • Required: 5+ years of relevant engineering and equipment experience
  • Strong mathematical aptitude including geometry, trigonometry, and exponents
  • Excellent problem-solving and logical reasoning abilities
  • Ability to interpret technical specifications and instructions
  • Effective communication skills for presenting information to colleagues and stakeholders
  • Ability to read and write in Basic English
  • Must be available for " Engineering on call" activities.

Nice To Haves

  • Preferred: Experience within a PSM (Process Safety Management) regulated manufacturing environment
  • Preferred: CAD experience

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and enhance sterilization process systems while tracking KPI (Key Performance Indicators).
  • Update department procedures and ISO documentation as needed
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance safety, efficiency, and reduce non-conformances.
  • Monitor equipment uptime and sterilization OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness)
  • Provide detailed performance reports and trend analysis to management using data analysis tools.
  • Train operators and technicians on system usage.
  • Manage projects from initiation through completion
  • Collaborate with Quality Assurance on equipment/process non-conformances and corrective actions
  • This role provides occasional on-call support within 24/7 operation, serving as the first point of contact for technical issues and coordination needs. You'll play a key role in troubleshooting, assessing situations and engaging appropriate personnel as needed.
