About The Position

PURPOSE AND SCOPE: Maintains a clean and orderly working area in production departments/rooms, meeting GMP standards. PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: In production departments/rooms and under general supervision, responsible for cleaning machines, conveyors, walls, floors, light fixtures, vents, windows, etc., according to GMP and FDA standards. Performs functions that require full knowledge of general aspects of the job. Works on assignments that are semi-routine in nature, but recognizes the need for occasional deviation from accepted practice. Empties garbage in production areas, as needed. Completes housekeeping logs for area of responsibility. Advises supervisor of needed supplies and shortages. Advises supervisor of maintenance items needing attention. Regularly communicates with line supervisors to resolve issues and ensures that all duties are being done well. Maintains general housekeeping of working area and plant. Follows all Fresenius Policies. Regular attendance and maintaining a good attendance record is an essential function of the job. May refer to senior staff for assistance with higher level problems that may arise. Escalates issues to supervisor for resolution, as deemed necessary. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud. EDUCATION: High School Diploma required. EXPERIENCE AND REQUIRED SKILLS: Minimum 1 – 2 years related experience. Familiar with operations within the production rooms. Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization. Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions. Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables. Requirements
