Process Operations Technicians report to the Operations Shift Supervisor and are responsible for the safe and efficient operation of process equipment and systems. Part Time Employees can work up to 29 hours a week.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
  • Physical ability to stand, sit, climb stairs, and lift up to 25 pounds
  • Willingness to work in a surface mine plant setting with exposure to various environmental conditions
  • Ability to wear required personal protective equipment
  • Must pass pre-employment and ongoing random drug testing

Nice To Haves

  • Higher education preferred
  • Prior experience in industrial operations or water treatment beneficial

Responsibilities

  • Perform all duties with a focus on safety, environmental stewardship, and best operating practices.
  • Operate and maintain process equipment and systems according to standard procedures and supervisor instructions.
  • Troubleshoot operational problems, complete repairs, and perform preventative maintenance duties.
  • Monitor and record operational data, including production rates and inventory levels.
  • Conduct visual inspections and perform necessary maintenance on equipment.
  • Demonstrate competency in operating fixed and mobile equipment.
  • Continuously seek to improve work environment and processes.
