About The Position

We're becoming an AI-first organization, and the Strategic Initiatives team needs a hands-on AI Process Engineer to make that vision real. This role is about execution: designing, building, and maintaining AI-powered workflows that drive measurable impact across Operations. You'll partner closely with Operations and Product teams to translate opportunities into working automations. From testing new tools to rolling out pilots and refining them based on feedback, you'll ensure that AI becomes part of how we work every day.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in automation engineering, business systems, or related roles with hands-on expertise in AI and workflow automation platforms.
  • AI-curious: you don't need to be an expert, but you're eager to learn, experiment, and apply AI to real business problems.
  • Data-driven problem solver: you use data to prioritize, measure, and improve solutions.
  • Persistent learner: you're comfortable failing fast, iterating, and trying again until the solution works.
  • Process-oriented: you think in terms of workflows, consistency, and scalability.
  • Strong work ethic: you take ownership, follow through, and care about delivering results teams can rely on.
  • Familiarity with AI and automation platforms (Gemini, Glean, Workato, Zapier, RPA tools) and/or scripting (Python, JavaScript) is a plus.
  • Clear communicator and documenter - you make complex workflows easy to understand and adopt.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with leaders in Support, Customer Success, Onboarding, Payment Ops, Engineering Support, and Compliance to identify opportunities for AI automation - then bring their user stories to life through working solutions.
  • Design, configure, and maintain workflows using tools such as Gemini, Glean, Workato, and other AI/automation platforms.
  • Build, test, and iterate on automations, ensuring they are effective, reliable, and user-friendly.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot live workflows, updating as business needs evolve.
  • Partner with Product teams to trial new AI capabilities and integrate them into day-to-day operations.
  • Document automations and develop playbooks to support scale and adoption across teams.
  • Help define and implement governance processes - ensuring automations follow standards for reliability, security, and compliance.
