About The Position

The Process Optimization Consultant will participate in the development, evaluation, and implementation of standardized processes within electric operations at CenterPoint Energy. This role focuses on enhancing system maintenance, project documentation, and workflow processes to improve customer and business outcomes. The consultant will work collaboratively to analyze issues, develop key performance indicators (KPIs), and recommend solutions that benefit stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3-5 years of experience in design, customer contact, or construction-related systems in the electric utility industry.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the development of electric operations process and standardization projects.
• Develop documented practices to educate end users about changes and benefits of projects.
• Create KPIs to analyze and monitor key stakeholder information affecting project outcomes.
• Develop reporting methods to identify trends and make improvement recommendations.
• Collaborate with electric business to analyze and research periodic issues within company systems.
• Define causes and effects of system issues to recommend and implement creative solutions.
