This is an entry-level role working in a plant or factory setting. The position involves performing a series of operations or tasks under close supervision, adhering to documented work processes to ensure efficiency and safety. The role involves significant physical activity, requiring the ability to lift, carry, and move objects weighing up to 50 pounds repeatedly throughout the workday. Candidates must be comfortable performing repetitive physical tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods, in a fast-paced environment. Shift Hours: 1st Shift: 6:30am - 2:30pm 2nd Shift: 2:30pm - 10:30pm

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Completion of site-specific safety training.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with team members.
  • Competency in following and reading instructions.
  • Basic math skills.
  • Experience in manufacturing or plant operations.
  • Forklift driving skills.
  • Computer proficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Adhere to all workplace safety procedures and product quality guidelines.
  • Monitor equipment throughout the shift to ensure optimal functionality.
  • Read and follow required processes accurately.
  • Contribute to achieving divisional results and overall performance.
  • Address internal and external customer needs and expectations.
  • Operate area-specific equipment including: CARBON: Bag products, conduct sampling and testing; manage spent carbon feeding to reactivation furnace; switch tank feed from tank to tank; calibrate pH probes, operate a filter press, run facility wastewater treatment plant REGEN: Sort bottles by size and resin; handle deliveries; operate forklift for materials movement and loading/unloading of trucks; evacuate bottles through plant operations.
