As a Process Operator in the Lafayette South Plant, you will be responsible for the safe operation, basic maintenance, and troubleshooting of a highly automated, state-of-the-art system. This system produces distinctive, high-quality ingredients and solutions for the food, beverage, and other industries. You will utilize innovative technology in large-scale manufacturing plants to transform raw materials into ingredients that enhance taste, texture, nutrition, and functionality in products used globally every day.

Requirements

Minimum of a High School diploma or equivalent.
Ability to demonstrate basic mathematics, reading comprehension, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work in hot and cold temperatures, climb stairs, climb ladders, lift & carry 55 lbs, and perform other physical duties.
Must pass a computer test, drug screen, and background check.

Nice To Haves

Associates degree or higher.
Three to five years related experience and/or training.
Knowledge of pumps, compressors, boilers, reactors, centrifuges, filtration and/or evaporation systems.

Work a 12-hour days to nights rotating shift schedule in a 365/24/7 operation with the flexibility to work alternate schedules and overtime.
