Requirements

High School Diploma or GED
Must complete site specific safety training
Ability to communicate clearly to team members
Be able to follow and read instructions
Have basic math skills
CARBON (site specific): Be able to complete 40 hour hazardous waste operations training

Nice To Haves

Some manufacturing/plant experience
Forklift driving
Knowledge of computers

Responsibilities

Follows all policies and guidelines regarding workplace safety and product quality
Check on equipment throughout shift to ensure equipment is working properly
Reads and clearly follows processes that are required
Contributes to division results and performance
Takes care of internal and external customer needs and expectations
Operate equipment specific to area such as: CARBON: Bag products, samples and test; Manage spent carbon feed to reactivation furnace; Switch tank feed from tank to tank of spent carbon; calibrate PH probes, operate a filter press, run facility waste water treatment plant
Operate equipment specific to area such as: REGEN: Sort bottles by size and resin; load and unload deliveries to and from regional branch; Operates forklift to move bottles and materials through plant and load/unload trucks; evacuates bottles
