  • Adjust process parameters (e.g., pressure, feed rate, temperature, gas flow) to maintain product quality and meet production targets.
  • Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for carbonization, activation, and post-treatment processes to ensure consistency, safety, and quality standards are met.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues related to the carbonization and activation processes, including equipment malfunctions or deviations from process parameters.
  • Monitor and maintain equipment performance, including reactors, kilns, heat exchangers, and gas scrubbers, and coordinate minor repairs or preventative maintenance as needed.
  • Collaborate with Quality Assurance (QA) teams to analyze product samples and adjust process parameters to meet quality specifications for activated carbon.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations, including proper handling of carbonization gases, emissions control, and waste management.
  • Provide feedback on process improvements and report any safety, environmental, or operational concerns to supervisors.
  • Perform physical tasks such as lifting, walking, climbing, stooping, standing, pushing, and/or pulling for up to twelve (12) hours a day in a relatively noisy, industrial, high-volume environment.
