This role requires both independent initiative and collaborative teamwork to maintain production, utility operations, and regulatory compliance. Essential Functions and Responsibilities Operate and monitor the splitter processing unit via console and automated systems. Adjust process variables (e.g., flows, temperatures, pressures) to control heaters, furnaces, compressors, exchangers, and towers. Identify and resolve abnormal conditions to maintain process integrity and equipment reliability. Assist with truck rack and vessel operations, support drivers, and maintain site appearance. Support technicians and field operators with maintenance tasks as assigned. Perform compliance task and create workorders for any discrepancies found. Apply substantial job knowledge and company policies to perform moderate to complex tasks. Exercise sound judgment to resolve issues with minimal supervision. Receive general guidance on new assignments while performing routine work independently. Support, train, and mentor Intermediate and associate level operators. Ensure accurate completion and maintenance of required documentation and records. Adhere to all applicable regulatory standards (e.g., OSHA, PSM) and company safety and operational policies. Support operational goals by completing additional projects and assignments as directed by the Supervisor. Perform all duties in accordance with safety protocols and participate in emergency response activities. Engage in required safety training, meetings, and drills. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of: Process Safety Management (PSM); ONEOK Management System (OMS); Operator Qualification (OQ) requirement; Company policies and procedures. Apply compliance knowledge to daily operations and maintenance activities. Actively participate in plant Turnaround activities, including preparation for unit shutdowns and startups. Collaborate with team members to ensure safe and efficient execution of Turnaround plans. Support operational goals by completing additional projects and assignments as directed by the Supervisor. Responsibilities may include Department of Transportation (DOT) covered functions, including operations, maintenance, or emergency response on a pipeline. Job duties also require the employee to be alert and respond immediately to dangerous or hazardous conditions, and where impaired performance, or failure to follow safety precautions, could result in serious injury or property damage.
