SSR Mining Cripple Creek & Victor is seeking a Process Operations Supervisor to join the Process Operations team. This role is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the Crushing and Adsorption Desorption Recovery (ADR) plants. The Supervisor will lead and coordinate daily plant activities, ensuring work is completed safely, on time, and within budget while optimizing performance and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of supervisory experience OR 5–7 years of experience in process operations
  • Strong leadership and team development skills
  • Solid understanding of gold processing operations, including crushing and ADR plants
  • Experience working in a high-paced, operational environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency with computer systems and reporting tools

Responsibilities

  • Promote and uphold a strong safety culture for self, direct reports, and all team members
  • Ensure compliance with all environmental regulations, company policies, and procedures
  • Oversee safe and efficient operation of plant equipment and systems
  • Monitor process KPIs and implement strategies to improve performance
  • Communicate production targets and align team execution accordingly
  • Collaborate closely with Process Day Shift Foreperson and Maintenance teams
  • Manage reagent usage and support cost control initiatives
  • Participate in hiring, onboarding, coaching, and succession planning
  • Maintain strong field presence (approximately 80% of time) engaging with team members
  • Support evaluation and execution of continuous improvement projects
  • Assist with environmental inspections and regulatory compliance activities
  • Lead daily, safety, and pre-start meetings as needed
  • Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs)
  • Drive change management initiatives and promote best practices
  • Address performance issues and support employee development and career growth
