About The Position

MGC Contractors, Inc. is a 100% Employee Owned Corporation. We specialize in all forms of water and wastewater general contracting including Job Order Contracting, Construction Manager at Risk, Design-Bid-Build, and Design-Build throughout Arizona, Texas, Utah, and New Mexico. MGC Contractors, Inc is looking for a Process Mechanical Superintendent for our Arizona Division in the Phoenix metro area.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED required.
At least five (5) years of experience installing piping and equipment on multi-functional water/wastewater projects required.
The ability to navigate a computer and the ability to respond timely to e-mail.
Passing a pre-employment background check and drug screen is required.

Responsibilities

Review and comprehend blueprint drawings and specifications.
Have the ability to lay out large and small diameter mechanical piping, and equipment such as Clarifier, Filters, Chemical rooms, and Pumps.
Coordinate and assist with the scheduling of the projects site logistics plan and manpower.
Manage effectively crews of 3-6 people.
Develop and train future Foremen and Superintendents.
Coordinate with the team on the pay request process.
Monitor project costs and job cost reports.
Ability to manage Job Cost Reporting with Project Team.
Help implement and monitor safety for all on-site personnel, and subcontractors.
Review, approve and help order material and equipment needed.
Any and all other duties assigned.
