About The Position

To support our growth, we’re looking for a Process Manager to join our team! As the Process Manager, you will effectively lead a high-performing production team across a premier high-tech corporate dining account. This role shapes our culinary and hospitality intentions - ensuring world-class service, culinary excellence, and detailed execution that reflects our client’s elevated standards. The Process Manager is responsible for assisting the Senior Process Manager in the overall success of the Production Kitchen. This includes adhering to our Client’s culture and guidelines, Health Department regulations, and Bon Appétit’s standards for food quality, freshness, and presentation. Alongside the Sr Process Manager and broader culinary team, you will manage daily operations, including the selection, development, and performance management of employees, while maintaining efficient systems and processes. This position motivates and directs team members to accomplish operational objectives and maintains a strong working relationship with the Client. As a Process Manager, you will set the example for responsible practices and ensure the well-being of our employees, the operation, and yourself.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of applicable experience in a high-volume, high-quality food service establishment.
  • Possess general hospitality knowledge and a genuine interest in sustainability and sustainable food practices.
  • Ability to operate web-based ordering systems, process customer requests, manage order changes, and update menu/client profiles.
  • Proficient in computer and technical skills, specifically with a working knowledge of Google Suite.

Nice To Haves

  • Proven ability to drive and enhance a culture of food and workplace safety.
  • Ability to strictly manage complex food allergen processes.
  • Experience managing in a Union environment is a plus.
  • ServSafe Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Safety Leadership: Manage workplace and food safety, including comprehensive allergen management.
  • Team Development: Assist in conducting employee reviews and professional development sessions.
  • Menu Excellence: Oversee large-scale menu management to deliver accurate menus; participate actively in tasting procedures to verify dish accuracy.
  • Compliance: Ensure all hiring and training standards are met and properly documented.
  • System Accuracy: Collaborate with CPU chefs to ensure accurate dish information is reflected in the menu management system and implement changes as necessary.
  • Standards Management: Work with the management team to ensure all ingredients and allergens are properly recorded and meet specific account standards.
  • Procurement: Gather and submit monthly supply orders.
  • Financial Stewardship: Reconcile production kitchen property and product costs.
  • Technical Integration: Utilize all web-based informational systems, including web-menu and catering platforms
