About The Position

The Process Maintenance Technician has direct involvement with set up, preventative maintenance of equipment, cleaning, and Minor repair of machines. The technician is responsible for ensuring timely changeovers as needed and preventative maintenance tasks are completed as scheduled, accurately and on time. Verification of completed maintenance work orders. Because the Process Maintenance Technician has specialized knowledge and expertise, they must be willing to mentor and assist in training others.

Requirements

  • Understanding of industrial automated equipment HMI, processes, controls, etc.
  • Experience with electronics, pneumatics, electrical.
  • Ability to communicate clearly with team members and vendors in diagnosing maintenance and safety related problems.
  • Previous experience in troubleshooting and repair of Manufacturing equipment.
  • Must be able to lead in a team-based environment where problem-solving and employee empowerment are keys to success.
  • 2+ years working in a manufacturing environment
  • 5+ years mechanical experience
  • Operational knowledge of tool room equipment
  • Experience with standard hand tools
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality and safety standards

Responsibilities

  • Actively participate in stopping and correcting unsafe conditions and behaviors.
  • Demonstrate daily evidence of continuous improvement efforts of 5S and autonomous maintenance.
  • Treat quality as a key pillar of our success by always Doing the right thing for our customers.
  • Solve problems daily by working together as an engaged team member
  • Respond to reactive maintenance requests and collaborate with team members to determine root cause analysis
  • Set up of equipment.
  • Coordinate and assist equipment change out.
  • Assist in troubleshooting equipment, process and quality issues
  • Use various types of tools,
  • Utilize maintenance software to create work orders, issue out spare parts and keep accurate records of tasks.
  • Perform process troubleshooting and perform machine adjustment to assist the production department with processing of quality parts.
  • Work well with a team and be prepared to work cross functionally with multiple skilled trade personnel, production personnel and management.
  • Support Group Leads & Supervisors with issues that may arise that directly impact OEE.
  • Perform TPM/AM tasks.
  • Update Communication boards
  • Other projects and tasks assigned.
